Maintain A Steady Course to Planned Parts Profit

Parts Profits: An Organizational Perspective; Webinar Presented by Rich Jilek

Webinar: Parts Profit Disbursement -
Parts or Service - A Question of the Budget Process
June 12; 10-11:30 a.m. CDT

Everyone at your distributorship works toward the same goal, how to increase the bottom line. Each department works as a team with the same ideas in mind, customer satisfaction, superior service, and outstanding availability. At the end of the day all these goals and ideas will have an effect on profits.

At first glance all the various department profits appear to have a cut and dry factor with regard to which department will retain the benefits. Sell a new unit and the profits benefit the sales department. Repair or maintain a unit and the service department retained the profit award. However, what about parts profit?

Rich Jilek, with over 40 years of experience in parts management, explores the alternatives and the impact on the Distributors overall profitability if Parts Profit is not accounted for properly. Regardless of how Parts profit is divided it should be planned for in every internal department budget. Rich will address the following questions:
  • How does this impact the overall business condition of the distributorship?

  • How can internal parts profits be worked into the budget?

  • Can you produce an annual plan for parts profit?

  • What is the plan flexibility regarding changes during the course of the fiscal year?
This 90 minute webinar includes time for Q & A. Bring your questions and Rich will be happy to answer them at the end of the presentation.

Register now! If you have questions contact Pat Novak at pnovak@aednet.org or 630-468-5135.
