Are You Measuring Your Managers' Abilities?

Have you considered that the measure of successful managers is their abilities plus a desire to reach their full potential?

You may currently have managers who are eager to achieve their promise. To compete today you need skilled managers who are full of ideas, employ industry best-practices and understand business priorities. A win-win situation is finding out where your managers' skills need improvement to help them fulfill their potential. You can do this by spending just ten minutes with the AED Foundation's Basic Skills Assessment (BSA).

Here's how it works:

The Basic Skills Assessment provides a series of questions to answer about a manager's skill levels. The result, a complimentary Personal Development Plan, will be emailed to you within a day or two. Each individualize Personal Development Plan will include:
  • The employee's strengths and areas that need improvement
     
  • Your statement of goals for the employee
     
  • Job description highlighting specific skills important to their position or the position the employee is working to obtain
     
  • Explanation of how the recommended courses address the employee's skills that need improvement
AEDU is the only place to find the industry- and position-specific management resources you need.

The Basic Skills Assessment and Personal Development plan is free to AED members. We invite you to complete one for each of your managers. We will follow up with you to be sure you have received your Personal Development Plan and to answer any questions.
