AED Foundation - Technical Training Committee
The AED Foundation's Technical Training Committee (TTC) is a dedicated group of volunteers composed of representatives from AED member dealers, manufacturers, and AED Accredited college diesel/equipment technology programs. This advisory committee supports the delivery of value-added workforce development and technical education services for the benefit of AED members. Committee initiatives are based on the Foundation's strategic plan as approved by the Foundation's Board of Directors. Initiatives include:
- Promoting the building of relationships and partnerships between technical colleges, equipment distributors and manufacturers.
- Updating and publishing every three years The AED Foundation's "Standards for Construction Equipment Technology," the foundation of the requirements for AED Accreditation of college equipment/diesel technical programs.
- Assisting in developing and implementing AED Accreditation and Recognition requirements, policies, processes and procedures. This includes advisory with, and on-site program evaluations for, applicant schools.
The AED Foundation thanks its dedicated volunteers for their service to the industry, AED, and The AED Foundation.
