AEDNews - Construction Equipment Industry NewsHugg & Hall Equipment Company to Acquire Arkla TaylorHugg & Hall Equipment Company recently announced the acquisition of Arkla Taylor, a Taylor Forklift dealer encompassing a five-state area including Louisiana, Arkansas, East Texas, Oklahoma and Southern Missouri. Founded in 1981 and headquartered in Ruston, La., Arkla Taylor is a regional dealer for Taylor Machine Works, the manufacturer of Taylor “Big Red” forklifts. Arkla Taylor rents and sells new and used equipment and provides parts and service for the Taylor product lines. In addition to its Ruston headquarters, Arkla Taylor has locations in Blytheville and El Dorado in Arkansas; Broussard and Houma in Louisiana; Longview and Lufkin in Texas; and Tulsa in Oklahoma. Arkla Taylor serves a broad customer base in the lumber, forestry, oil & gas, steel, pipe, prestressed concrete, and freight handling industries, as well as other markets requiring a large lift capacity, usually in demanding industrial and construction settings.
