AEDNews - Construction Equipment Industry NewsDoosan Continues British Open SponsorshipDoosan was once again an Official Patron of last week’s British Open (known widely as The Open Championship), the oldest of the four major championships in professional golf. It was Doosan’s third year as a sponsor. More than 200,000 spectators were expected at Royal Lytham & St. Annes Golf Club in Lancashire, England, site of this year’s Open Championship. The event was broadcast to 190 countries worldwide, by the BBC and ESPN. Doosan is one of seven British Open Patrons that include Rolex, HSBC, Mercedes-Benz, MasterCard, Ralph Lauren and Nikon. Doosan was the first company headquartered in Korea to support the tournament.
