AED Government Affairs Conference

Make YOUR Voice Heard in Washington, D.C.

AED's 2010 Government Affairs Conference
April 14 & 15, 2010

With the equipment industry suffering through the worst economic conditions since the Great Depression, AED's advocacy work on behalf of equipment distributors in the nation's capital has never been more important.

AED is on the front lines in the fight for new, long-term highway, water, and airport reauthorization bills that will increase investment in critical infrastructure and revive equipment markets. AED is also helping to lead the charge on reinstating the depreciation bonus, repealing the estate tax, freeing up credit for the construction industry, reviving the housing market, preventing LIFO repeal, fighting unnecessary and duplicative expansions labor and environmental law, and other issues that directly affect your company's bottom line.

Whether you're a political junkie or just someone who understands how much of an impact developments in Washington, D.C. have on equipment distributors, the Government Affairs Conference is for you.

The two day meeting will feature briefings by prominent members of Congress, association and industry leaders, and political pundits on key issues and the 2010 elections. As always, attendees will spend most of the second day of the meeting on Capitol Hill, taking the equipment industry's message directly to lawmakers and getting personally engaged in the legislative process. The conference also includes receptions, meals, and plenty of networking with other equipment distribution leaders.

We hope you'll join us for what's become the construction equipment industry's premier annual public policy event.
