AED Washington Education Fund Contribution Form
AED WASHINGTON EDUCATION FUND CONTRIBUTION FORM
Thanks for supporting the Associated Equipment Distributors' Washington Education Fund (WEF). Your contribution will help us advance the equipment industry's agenda on Capitol Hill by underwriting our legislative fax alert system, grassroots development activities, and participation in lobbying coalitions. Unlike AED Political Action Committee (PAC) contributions, AED WEF contributions may be made with corporate funds. WEF contributors will receive a special plaque and be recognized at AED's annual meeting and CONDEX. You'll also be recognized in AED's Washington Insights and other publications.
The AED WEF's federal tax identification number is 68-0533667. Under the U.S. tax code, the portion of your WEF contribution that is used for "lobbying activities" is non-deductible. The law includes a broad definition of "lobbying." AED estimates that 33% of this year's WEF activities will constitute lobbying under the law. Therefore, you may not deduct one-third of your contribution as an ordinary and necessary business expense. The remaining two-thirds may still constitute a deductible business expense.
Please provide the following information to help us process your WEF contribution: |
