Al MorganAl Morgan, a leading equipment industry consultant, combines presentations with hands-on activities and Q&A interaction with participants. He developed the content for this powerful, two-day training event by working with top distributor executives, The AED Foundation and other industry sources. The result is a high-quality training experience tailored specifically for construction equipment industry managers.

Participants will receive a workbook to keep containing a dealer case study, financial/cash flow best practices, service department strategy, plus essentials for managing conflict, coaching, mentoring and trust-building, and more.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this seminar, participants will know how to:
  • Define and discuss diverse leadership skills and employ these skills to keep their branches performing at the highest level through coaching, mentoring, praising, and empowering employees.
  • Identify methods and practices through analysis of specific key ratio measurements to improve efficiency and profitability in the sales, service, parts, and rental departments and implement these practices in their dealerships.
  • Identify and discuss effective marketing practices and sales planning techniques for all departments and implement these practices in each department.

Airport and Transportation Information

O'Hare International Airport offers more connections to more cities, more often than any other airport in the world. The airport is located approximately 10 miles north of Oak Brook.

Midway Airport is located approximately 12 miles from The Oak Brook. Since the Midway Airport Terminal Development Program began in 1997, Midway Airport has experienced record-breaking growth, making it one of the fastest growing airports in the nation.

Taxi Service: Our recommended taxi service provider is American Taxi. American Taxi provides transportation to the hotel from both major airports. Current average rates are as follows: O'Hare $25.00 Midway $30.00

Classy Limo Service: The cost per private car is $35.00 each way to/from O'Hare Airport and $45.00 to/from Midway Airport. The cost per ride can be individually paid for by the travelers and paid directly to the driver. Call Eli at 630-991-1111.

Refund Policy: For seminar cancellations, notice needs to be received at The AED Foundation in writing at least 30 days prior to the event date for refund. If cancellation notice is received less than 30 days prior, credit will be extended to the registrant to attend another AED Foundation seminar event within the same calendar year. This credit can be applied only to specified seminar events as determined by The AED Foundation.
